Embedded World 2025

We are excited to showcase our expertise through a technical session on MIPI SoundWire® protocol at Embedded World 2025. As a premier global exhibition and conference, Embedded World brings together industry leaders and innovators to share expert knowledge, foster strategic networking, and display cutting-edge products and solutions that are redefining the future of embedded technology.

Topic: MIPI SoundWire® When Compared to I2S and TDM

Audio communication has been rapidly evolving necessitating the need for efficient, scalable, and cost-effective communication protocols. Though traditional protocols like I2S and TDM have served the industry well, they encompass certain challenges. To overcome the limitations of these protocols and address the growing need of audio technology, MIPI introduced the SoundWire® protocol.

Explore the future of audio communication as Saravana Kumar Muthusamy, our Product Manager, presents on how MIPI SoundWire®’s reduced pin count simplifies hardware design, configurable frame sizes that allows developers to adjust frame size based on bandwidth, and advanced features like interrupts, wake-up capabilities and event signaling enhance efficiency and optimize audio functionality.
