We are seeking a Project Manager that loves problem-solving, communication and can inspire teams to innovate. The Project Manager will ensure successful project delivery by effectively planning, executing, and managing resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations within the given scope, time, and budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with expertise in both SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Impact/ Growth Prospects:
Chief Executive Officer of a high-impact portfolio: As the Project Manager you will be the Chief Executive Officer of a large portfolio. You will be responsible for outcomes, understand impact and ensure an enriching experience for both Customer and Soliton with every delivery.

Work experience with multiple stakeholders: You will ensure the outcomes of the team are par excellence, regularly communicating with and meeting the expectations of the client. You will build expertise in drawing competitive timelines; drawing out the best from a highly motivated team; and understand real-time outcomes from solutions implemented by your team.

Domain expertise – Test and Measurement: Experience and understanding of the ever-expanding domain of Test and Measurement. With every device in the world from an electric toothbrush to a self-driving car requiring automated test and measurement solutions, this is a domain with multiple applications.

Key Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will empower Leads and Senior Leads in the team to ensure that all projects across your portfolio meet the outcomes and are delivered with excellence, on time, and within budget. From project initiation to closure, you will be ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client requirements and expectations.

Stellar Project Delivery

  • You will steer the team throughout the project management lifecycle, developing detailed project plans, schedules and budgets.
  • You will define and track KPIs for the portfolio, such as on-time delivery rate, budget adherence, revenue per engineer, and quality indicators. Through dashboards and reporting tools, highlight real-time insights on overall performance and areas of improvement.
  • You will work with your Leads and Senior Leads to establish and improve predictability through thorough risk identification, assessment and management across the portfolio, related to delivery of commitments, business growth, and team growth.
  • You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, and ensure adherence to Agile principles and best practices.
  • You will lead communications on project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders and senior management, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.

Drive Excellence and Innovation

  • You will champion continuous improvement initiatives and drive process optimization efforts to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • You will encourage project teams to continuously identify, suggest, evaluate, and implement innovative solutions to fulfill the customer’s vision.
  • You will support the team in identifying unique value propositions that add significant value to customers.

Build an Authentic and Trust-worthy Relationship with the Customer

  • You will strive to build an authentic relationship with the Customer such that they feel assured that with your leadership, the team can achieve the customer's long-term vision and short-term business outcomes.
  • You will establish effective and consistent communication channels with customers and understand customer sentiments. You will create a feedback mechanism that can implement input from customers. You will share quarterly reports with stakeholders to highlight our efforts, achievements, and challenges faced and resolved.
  • You will be key to ensuring the team feels engaged with the customer and invested in solving their pain points to achieve business outcomes. The team should see how their work contributes to business value creation.

  • You will lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • You will foster a strong sense of camaraderie and unity among team members, encouraging collaboration.
  • You will provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance, conducting regular performance reviews and goal setting sessions.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
  • You have proven 8+ years of experience with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • An In-depth knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches, and practical experience in their application.
  • A strong understanding of Agile frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, and proficiency in Agile project management tools, such as Jira or Trello.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Good to Have:

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
  • 2-3 years of development experience in Python, LabVIEW, Web Frontend or Backend.
