Summary:
Soliton is a high-technology software company working with the top semiconductor industries in the world, looking for a Lead Software Engineer – Full Stack. The Lead Software Engineer will use their core engineering capabilities to develop and optimize full-stack solutions for Test and Measurement. The applicant can expect to gain vast experience in building scalable and efficient software applications to address key requirements in the semiconductor industry. We do not expect the applicant to have prior experience in working with semiconductor applications; however, we do expect the applicant to be keen to learn and work in this evolving domain.
Position Overview:
We are a 25+ year company that serves seven of the top 20 semiconductor companies in the world. We have recently seen a rapid growth in the demand to improve the efficiency of legacy workflows using Full-Stack development. To meet this high demand, Soliton is building a brand-new team. We expect this team to solve some of the most challenging problems using the latest advancements in web and software development.
We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer – Full Stack, who has strong engineering capabilities and a keen interest in building scalable and efficient web applications. The Lead Software Engineer will design and implement software for multiple applications, including Measurement & Automation, Semiconductor Post-Silicon Validation, and Cross-Platform Device GUIs. This is a role where you can expect to gain vast experience in full-stack development using your core know-how in front-end and back-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities -

Lead a team of engineers to deliver quality software; setup a healthy work environment and ensure the team is delighted towards work.

Design, develop, and maintain web applications and software solutions from front-end to back-end.

Collaborate with internal and customer stakeholders, UX/UI Designers to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Manage customer expectations, influence project features and direction to meet and enhance the customer needs.

Breakdown deliverables into modules and plan and execute software deliveries within the estimated budget and timelines.

Keep the stakeholders updated of achievements, health and risks involved in the project. Analyze and provide metrics for overall technical execution.

Ensure quality of delivery by adapting modern software engineering and testing practices like unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing.

Provide the right input to the Presales team for project extensions, mining opportunities in the project and account.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating new tools and frameworks as needed.
Qualification :

Proven experience with 5+ years as a Full Stack Developer with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or lead role.

Expertise in front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, .NET)

Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS for building responsive and accessible UI.

Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus

Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality, scalable solutions.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Ability to mentor and lead teams, fostering a positive and productive development environment.
